An exciting tale of the U.S. Navy's use of dirigibles in exploring Antarctica. Ownership inscription. Near fine bright copy in a very good lightly dust soiled dust jacket with a few tiny chips and tears. The front panel of the dust jacket is a spectacular painting of a huge Navy dirigible in the clouds with an airplane flying around it.
