Ownership inscription, near fine in a bright fresh dust jacket. The front is a color picture of the lovely Nilsson shaking her fist toward the heavens.

Photoplay edition issued to coincide with the release of the classic Western film, The Spoilers, directed by Ray Enright, starring John Wayne, Marlene Dietrich, and Randolph Scott. Signed on the front free endpaper by actor Victor French, best known for his television work on Highway to Heaven and Little House on the Prairie. Very good plus copy with some minor edge wear in a very good lightly used dust jacket with a few shallow chips and small tears and a couple of tape reinforcements to the interior. The front panel of the dust jacket shows John Wayne, Marlene Dietrich, and Randolph Scott in a scene from the film.

This copy belonged to the author's own company ÒREX BEACH, INC.Ó, and has the company's ownership label on the front endpaper. Rare in dust jacket. A novel set against the background of the Alaskan Gold Rush. Made into a silent film in 1925 directed by Frank Lloyd starring Ben Lyon, Anna Q. Nilsson, Viola Dana Hobart Bosworth, and Dorothy Sebastian.
