8Ó x 10Ó. This set of promotional photo stills for the film Jezebel shows the principal actors in various formal and casual scenes. Fine condition. The film was directed by William Wyler, with a screenplay by John Huston and Clements Ripley adapted from the play by Owen Davis, and starred Bette Davis, Henry Fonda, George Brent, Margaret Lindsay, Fay Bainter, and Spring Byington. The picture is set during during the Antebellum period in New Orleans and tells the story of a determined and independent young Southern woman (Davis) whose actions upset the traditional social order, resulting in much turmoil and romantic conflict. The film won two Oscars; Best Actress in a Leading Role (Bette Davis) and Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Fay Bainter). It was nominated for Oscars for Best Picture, Best Cinematography, and Best Music, Scoring (Max Steiner).

Specially printed promotional book made in a small number for distribution to reviewers for the World Premiere of classic film All This and Heaven Too, based on the novel by Rachel Field, directed by Anatole Litvak, also starring Charles Boyer, Jeffrey Lynn, Barbara O'Neil, and Virginia Weidler. Paperbound, 9 1/2Ó x 12 1/2Ó. Very good copy with a trace of edge wear and a few tiny tears to the edges of the covers in printed wrappers. The film is based on a true story which was adapted into a novel by Rachel Field and is set in 1840s France with Bette Davis in the role of a schoolteacher burdened by her unresolved past. It received several Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Barbara O'Neil), and Best Cinematography, Black-and-White.
