Both Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt won Oscars for Best Acting, and the film was nominated for Best Picture, Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Greg Kinnear), Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen, Best Film Editing, and Best Music, Original Musical or Comedy Score.

First Edition. Original 129 page fourth draft shooting script for the film I'll Do Anything (originally titled ÔIt's Only a Movie') written and directed by James L. Brooks, starring Nick Nolte, Whittni Wright, Albert Brooks, Julie Kavner, Joely Richardson, and Tracey Ullman. Bradbound. Touch of use, else fine in studio wrappers dated June 1992. The film tells the story of a self-absorbed actor (Nolte) who suddenly finds himself in the position of having to care for his young daughter. The film was originally intended as a musical, with choreography by the great Twyla Tharp, all of which changed when test audiences gave the musical numbers such poor reviews that the studio decided to take them out altogether. A rare draft.
