He has mastered many mediums, including film and photography, with his ground-breaking work ÔEvery Building on the Sunset Strip,' a book of composed of photographs of a two and one half mile stretch of the twenty-two mile boulevard. Some of his other photographic books are: Twentysix Gasoline Stations (1962), Various Small Fires (1964), Some Los Angeles Apartments (1965), Nine Swimming Pools and a Broken Glass (1968), A Few Palm Trees (1971), etc.
