Laid in is a typed letter signed by the author, Gene Thompson, dated 20.i.88, to fellow writer Wayne Warga, discussing various subjects including a favorable review he had received from PW (Publisher's Weekly) and an invitation for a visit from Warga and his wife. Also laid in is an autographed signed Christmas postcard from Gene Thompson and his wife, Sylvia, to Wayne Warga. Fine in a fine dust jacket. A Dade and Ellen Cooley Book. Kennedy's race for the Presidency, and went on to cover the Civil Rights movement for the magazine.
