The photographs are affixed to a page of a photo album, one to each side. The first photograph is a 5Ó x 9Ó sepia toned image. It is a sweet portrait of London, he is half-smiling, leaning against a chair, an unlit cigarette in one hand, and his other hand in his pocket. There is white pencil writing next to the image: ÒDaddy--about 1915Ó, presumably by one of his daughters. Fine. On the verso is a 6 1/2Ó x 8 1/2Ó image of a small house at the end of a dirt road with white pencil text on the album paper: ÒGrandma's House The Bungalow, Piedmont RoadÓ. One small tear and some silvering to the edges, very good.

London Readers Library 1926 
Photoplay edition issued to coincide with the British release of the silent film of the classic London tale starring Milton Sills. Ownership signature and address and blindstamp. Very good lightly used copy in a bright dust jacket with a long tear across the front panel which has been repaired with tape on the interior, and with a couple of other tiny tears and chips and one 1/4Ó piece missing along the spine fold. The front panel is a color painting of Sills as Wolf Larsen stripped to waist steering his ship with the rear panel illustrated with a painting of the ship being tossed by rough seas. Scarce.
