The film was directed by George Stevens (with David Lean and Jean Negulesco, uncredited), and starred a diverse cast, including Max Von Sydow, Charlton Heston, Carol Baker, Angela Lansbury, Sidney Poitier, Shelley Winters, John Wayne, Ed Wynn, Jose Ferrer, Van Hefflin, Claude Rains, and Telly Savalas. With many colored rewrite pages. Carl Sandburg contributed to the screenplay, though is uncredited. Bradbound. Near fine lightly used copy with some aging to the covers in printed wrappers.
