Love & gratitude, Robert.Ó Illustrated with scenes from the award winning film Chinatown, produced by Robert Evans, written by Robert Towne, directed by Roman Polanski, and starring Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway, and John Huston. Robert Towne won an Oscar for Best Writing, Original Screenplay, and the film and crew received ten nominations, including Robert Evans (Best Picture), Jack Nicholson (Best Actor), and Faye Dunaway (Best Actress). Very good copy with some minor spotting to the cloth and to the front endpapers, a trace of edge wear, and a minor bump to the top of the spine without dust jacket as issued.

First Edition. First draft 164 page screenplay for the 1990 film, The Two Jakes, the belated sequel to the 1974 film, Chinatown. Directed by and starring Jack Nicholson, reprising his role as L.A. private investigator, Jake Gittes, once again unraveling a tangled web of deceit and passion with oil replacing water as the currency of power. Also starring Harvey Kietel (as the other Jake), Meg Tilly, and Eli Wallach. Very good, bound with brads in wrappers.
