A comprehensive 350 page study of make-up for actors, including chapters on theoretical principles, techniques for both stage and screen, physiognomics and mimicry, materials, etc. Delbert Mann (1920 - 2007) was an accomplished director who came from the Golden Age of Television ("Philco Playhouse," "Goodyear Television Playhouse," and "Producers' Showcase") and went on to great success in film, and is perhaps best known for his Oscar-winning direction of the classic film Marty.
