An archive of original promotional material related to the Steven Spielberg film Young Sherlock Holmes / Pyramid of Fear directed by Barry Levinson, written by Chris Columbus, and starring Nicholas Rowe as the young Holmes, Alan Cox as the young John Watson, with Sophie Ward. The archive includes a set of 15 black & white stills from the film with 1 black & white photo from the set of the film (all measuring 9 3/4Ó x 8Ó) with each photo accompanied by a description of the image printed on Paramount Pictures Corporation publicity stationery, 50 single sheet posters for the film (8 1/2Ó x 11Ó) with one side printed with the title logo of the film and on the verso several full color stills from the film and a listing of the principal credits, a folded full color promotional pamphlet (7 1/2Ó x 9Ó) listing the cast and technical credits and a synopsis, a set of 6 black & white stills from the film (8Ó x 10Ó), and 2 sets of eight full color lobby cards (14Ó x 11Ó) printed with the heading ÒWhere the Legend BeginsÓ depicting various scenes from the film and including the primary credits. All material is uniformly fine. The film tells the story of how Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson meet as boys in an English boarding school, where they discover a sinister plot to murder a series of British business men by an Egyptian cult.

A special film program made by the studio for advance screenings of the film, E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial, for reviewers and members of the motion picture industry. E.T. was directed by Steven Spielberg, with a screenplay by Melissa Mathison, and starred Peter Coyote, Dee Wallace, Henry Thomas, and Drew Barrymore. Included are three beautifully mounted full-color stills from the film, all with vellum guards on which are printed in gold in various parts of international reviews of the film: one of E.T. gently touching Elliott (Henry Thomas) on the forehead, the next of the adorable Gertie (Drew Barrymore) giving E.T. a sweet kiss on his nose, and the last of E.T. and Elliott in a good-bye hug. All enclosed in a beige textured stiff paper folder with a color image from the film of E.T.'s and Elliott's index fingers touching and creating a point of bright white light. Fine in printed wrappers.
