1 BRADBURY, RAY Moby Dick. Screenplay by Ray Bradbury
Signed by the author Ray Bradbury, with his signature dated 6/6/06. Original 135 page mimeographed shooting script dated May 20, 1954 with 5 pages of revisions, and measuring 8 1/2” x 13 1/2”, with ink notes on the inside regarding shooting certain scenes on various days. Bradbound with a typed label affixed to the front cover reading: “Moby Dick. Screenplay by Ray Bradbury, 20th May, 1954, Copy No. 149.” With some spotting and dust soiling to the covers, barely affecting the interior, and with a few small edge tears and creases. One of Bradbury's proudest achievements. A very rare script. Enclosed in a custom blue cloth clamshell box. This classic film based on the novel by Herman Melville was released in 1956 with a screenplay by Bradbury and the film's director John Huston, starring Gregory Peck as Captain Ahab, Richard Basehart as Ishmael, Leo Genn as Starbuck, James Robertson Justice, Harry Andrews, Orson Welles, and Bernard Miles.
