Fist Edition. Signed and inscribed by director James Cameron and by producer Gale Anne Hurd to Bongo Wolf, the renowned collector of vampire literature, on the front inside cover. Inscribed: “To Bongo, James Cameron.” and “To Bongo Wold, Gale Anne Hurd.” Illustrated throughout with scenes from the classic film Aliens, the sequel to Alien, written and directed by the great James Cameron, starring Sigourney Weaver (reprising her role as Ripley), Michael Biehn, Paul Reiser, Lance Henriksen, and Jenette Goldstein. With behind-the-scenes sections on the challenges and process James Cameron encountered directing such a complex film and another on Gale Anne Hurd's work producing of the film. With much information on the special effects as well. Touch of use, else fine in printed wrappers. Authentic James Cameron autographs are surprisingly uncommon due to his being a reluctant signer.

First Edition. Signed by the author, Ed Naha, and by film director Joe Dante whose work was greatly influenced by Roger Corman. Oversized format, 8 3/4” x 11 1/4”. Illustrated throughout with scenes from the films and life of the great maverick director, producer, and mentor Roger Corman. Fine in a fine bright price-clipped dust jacket. Joe Dante is featured throughout the text, especially so in the chapter entitled ‘Brave New World' where is says in part: “In a way, working with Roger is like working for an old-fashioned movie company. You know just about everybody involved with the film and it's a real team effort. For me, the nicest thing about Roger is that he never rewrites you.” The front panel of the dust jacket is illustrated with full-color posters from some of Corman's best known films, including Battle Beyond the Stars, Deathsport, Not of This Earth, The Haunted Palace, The Wild Angels, and House of Usher. Joe Dante's filmography includes Gremlins, Amazon Women on the Moon, Masters of Horror and in television for CSI: NY and Hawaii Five-O.

First Edition. Signed and inscribed on the half-title by the film's star, Elsa Lanchester, to Philip J. Riley, the editor of the book ‘The Bride of Frankenstein. Screenplay by William Hurlbut & John L. Balderston. Introduction by Valerie Hobson. Foreword by Forrest J Ackerman' which reprinted the film's screenplay. Inscribed: “To Phil, From THE Bride of Frankenstein! Elsa Lanchester. With all my very best wishes.” Additionally signed and inscribed to Riley from Forrest J Ackerman on the front free endpaper: “Phil - Aunt Beeze is fine and here's The Bride of Frankenstein. What else? Forry, at 59.” Ownership signature dated 1938 on the front pastedown. Near fine copy with a hint of use and very minor foxing in a beautiful bright dust jacket with very slight use and some repairs by an expert paper conservationist. The front panel of the dust jacket is a color painting of the lovely Elsa Lanchester as the Bride, with that iconic white streak in her wavy back swept hair. Enclosed in a handsome custom clamshell box.
