First Editions. Paperbound. 5 3/8” x 8 1/2”. Two original catalogues from Sumner & Stillman, each featuring First American Editions of Charles Dickens from the Calinescu Collection. Part I (57 pages) is dated March, 2010 and includes such rarities as Dickens's first book published in America ‘Watkins Tottle and Other Sketches' (1836), various editions of ‘The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club', ‘The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby', and other classics, Dickens's Christmas books, and much more. Part II (65 pages) is dated October, 2012 and includes a section of Dickens's major works from ‘David Copperfield' through ‘Edwin Drood', a section of Dickens's ‘Extra Christmas Numbers from Household Words and All the Year Round', and another of his minor works. Both catalogues have full color photo illustrations and, aside from a date notation on each front cover, are in fine condition.
