Signed presentation copy inscribed by the author, Jack and Madeline Gilford, to blacklisted Hollywood screenwriter, Frank Tarloff, and his wife, inscribed: “Dear Frank and Lee, Be aware that you are part of the 170 years. Love, Jack and Madeline XXX.” Illustrated. Near fine in a near fine very lightly used dust jacket. A collection of show business memoirs of two married couples - the Mostels (Zero & Kate) and the Gilfords (Jack & Madeline), whose combined years in the worlds of film and theater total up to about 170. As actors they appeared together in such classic Broadway hits as A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Fiddler on the Roof, Save the Tiger, and many more. As friends they shared many years of funny and poignant experiences. Frank Tarloff won the Academy Award for Best Screenplay in 1964 for Father Goose starring Cary Grant.
