Photoplay edition issued to coincide with the British release of the classic silent film starring Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell in the classic tale of love and passion directed by Frank Borzage. Very good plus copy in a lightly used dust jacket with some dust soiling, a long tear to the front flap fold, and some small nicks and tears. The dust jacket has a vivid wraparound color painting which shows a painting of Gaynor standing in an open window that looks out on Paris as she looks down on Farrell who is setting on the sill. The film won Gaynor the very first Academy Award for Best Actress plus awards for Best Screenplay and Best Director.
