First Edition. Original 143 page mimeographed dialogue and cutting continuity script, dated February 24, 1954, prepared toward the end of production for the film ‘The Far Country,' screenplay by Borden Chase (from his novel), directed by Anthony Mann, and starring James Stewart, Ruth Roman, Corinne Calvet, Walter Brennan, John McIntire, Jay C. Flippen, Harry Morgan, Steve Brodie, Connie Gilchrist, and Jack Elam. Bradbound, 8 1/2” x 11”. Very good lightly used copy with some tearing to the last page. The film is set at the beginning of the Klondike gold rush where an ambitious cattle herder (Stewart) and his partner (Brennan) get into the gold business, become involved in romances, and deal with the corruption inspired by the lure of quick riches.
