Original 106 page final draft shooting script with color rewrite pages, dated 9/12/73 for the television movie It's Good to Be Alive, directed by Michael Landon, starring Paul Winfield as Roy Campanella, Louis Gossett Jr., and Ruby Dee. This copy was owned by the production's set designer with a postcard written to him, dated September 24, 1973, and various items, including a parking pass to the Mammoth Mountain Inn dated April, 1975, from an apparent trip to Mammoth Mountain, CA laid in. Bound in full black leatherette. The script is in very good slightly used condition and the binding is in fine fresh condition. The film tells the moving story of former Brooklyn Dodger, Roy Campanella, the first black major league catcher, whose promising career was ended due to the loss of the use of his legs from an auto accident in January of 1958.
