Inscribed: “Bruce!, Hedy!, Love, Ray Bradbury, April 23, 1983.” This was signed by Bradbury 6 days before the film was nationally released. Special film program made by the studio for advance screenings of the film to reviewers and members of the motion picture industry. Paperbound. 8 1/2” x 11” folded 4 page program printing the full cast and crew with illustrations. Near fine.

Original, studio-issued pressbook from “Fahrenheit 451”, based on the Ray Bradbury novel, directed by Francois Truffaut and starring Oskar Werner, Julie Christie and Cyril Cusack. The unfolded and uncut pressbook is in booklet format measuring 8 3/4" x 13 3/4" with “stiff” front and back (orange-ish colored) covers and 8 interior (single-sided) pages, some of which fold open, displaying advertisements, articles, reproductions of posters, and other material that could be used in promoting the film.

8 by 10 inches, semi-matte finish 1966 
Original signed and inscribed photograph of Oskar Werner as the lead character Montag in the 1966 film production of Ray Bradbury's classic science fiction novel, Fahrenheit 451, directed by Francois Truffaut and co-starring Julie Christie. The photograph is personally inscribed to Ray Bradbury in black ink and reads: “It is difficult to be a human being - on the stage- and in life - To Ray Bradbury in deep admiration, Oskar Werner - Fun after Fahrenheit.” The image of the picture shows Werner in the film at the key moment reading from an open book exposing himself publicly as possessing a book to a group of his wife's friends. In the original gold frame used by Bradbury, this picture used to hang in Bradbury's entry hallway. With a Certificate of Authenticity from the Ray Bradbury estate.

First Edition. Signed and inscribed by Linwood G. Dunn and George Turner to noted film historian Robert S. Birchard. Additionally, Turner has drawn a picture of King Kong with is inscription. Fine copy in a near fine dust jacket with some minor handling. Linwood G. Dunn (1904-1998) was a major pioneer in the area of visual effects and had a long career working on such classics as King Kong, Citizen Kane, The Thing From Another World, Bringing Up Baby, Cat People, Out of the Past, Mighty Joe Young, Shock Corridor, the original Star Trek series, etc. Oversize pictorial format, 297 pages plus index. A history of visual effects in film from the 1895 Edison production of The Execution of Mary, Queen of Scots, to the more contemporary techniques of such films as Star Wars, Superman, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, etc. Filled with color and black & white photographs as well as drawings and diagrams.

6 STOKER, BRAM Dracula
London Archibald Constable and Company 1897 
First Edition, First Issue on thicker paper with one blank leaf at rear and no ads with the original endpapers. Presentation copy signed by the author, Bram Stoker, to Frank A. Munsey (1854-1925), the great American newspaper and magazine publisher. Inscribed: “Frank A. Munsey from Bram Stoker, 22.6.97.” Undoubtedly, Stoker presented the book to Munsey in an unsuccessful hope that Munsey would serialize Dracula in one of his magazines. Munsey's pulp magazines Argosy, Munsey's Magazine, All-Story Magazine all had distinguished records of printing fantasy fiction. This book is beautifully bound in a modern full black morocco leather binding with gilt-stamped red labels, raised bands, and tooling. With gilt inner dentelles with terrific blood red marbled endpapers. Enclosed in a matching morocco and cloth clamshell box.

7 STRATTEN, DOROTHY Original Black & White Photograph Portrait Signed by Dorothy Stratten in Her Role In the Film - Galaxina
8 by 10 inches 1980 
A very rare signed glossy portrait of Dorothy Stratten in her role as the beautiful android robot in the science fiction film - Galaxina - an amusing parody of sci-fi films like Star Wars and Alien. Signed in blue ink - Love, Dorothy Stratten. The film was released shortly before her tragic murder at the age of 20. Playboy Playmate of the Year for 1980, her great beauty and acting talent put Stratten on a rapid rise. Having just finished filming dierctor Peter Bodanovich's They All Laughed with whom she fell in love, Stratten was suddenly murdered by her estranged husband. Slight creaese in the upper left hand corner, else fine. Very little Stratten autograph material has survived.
