ÔDoc' Smith, Ted Dikty, Isaac Asimov, Sam Moskowitz, Charles Hornig, Donald Wollheim, Forrest J. Ackerman, etc. Signed by the author. 8 pages each plus paperbound covers. Spines almost invisibly strengthened by an expert paper conservationist. Fine copies. These booklets were created by Myrtle Douglas (known as Morosco) and also contain printed facsimile signatures of famous science fiction and suspense celebrities including Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi), Hugo Gernsbeck, Erle Stanley Gardner, Boris Karloff, Jules Verne, George Allan England, etc., with blank space for autographs to be obtained at the conventions which in this case was very successfully achieved. The front panel of the dust jacket is a color illustration of the young farmer sitting on a monument of what looks like cockroach soldiers raising a U.S. flag (a la Iwo Jima), while he converses with a large-headed alien figure and a cockroach being in military uniform.
