With occasional red & blue pencil notations and corrections. From the estate of the screenwriter, Ainsworth Morgan. Laid in are two black & white 8 1/2Ó x 11Ó glossy still photographs in fine condition from the MGM film: one of Joan Crawford looking exceptionally lovely wearing a sumptuous velvet gown with matching hat, the other is of James Stewart at a formal dinner with various other cast members. An historical drama about the scandalous romance between Andrew Jackson and Peggy O'Neale. Bound with brads. Very good in original studio wrappers which are lightly used and faded.
