1 CARR, HARRY To Will Rogers: “Vaya Con Dios” (Go With God). Introduction by William S. Hart
Los Angeles Angelus Press 1935 
First Edition. Bound in dark brown stiff paper leatherette and thin jute string reminiscent of Western styling, with gilt stamping on the front cover. The text on each page is bordered by a lariat design. Unpaginated with the leafs of paper printed on one side only and folded, not intended to be opened. With an introduction by actor, director William S. Hart, best known for his popular Western films of the 20s. Full page photographic portrait of the great American entertainer and homespun philosopher, Will Rogers, with a printed authorization for use by Harry Carr from the Will Rogers family for inclusion in this fond tribute to his memory, following his tragic death in 1935 from a plane crash with famous aviator, Wiley Post. Pages browned as usual, else a very good copy with a very thin strip of dampstaining to the edges of some of the pages and with a 1” tear to the outer edge of one page without dust jacket and without the publisher's original gift box.
