A special New Year Edition of the British film magazine, Daily Film Renter, published for the film industry and trade, with articles and interviews related to the business of film production. Illustrated throughout with color and black & white photos, and with many great ads from film companies such as Kodak, Polaroid, Western Electric, etc. Very good slightly used copy with some minor dust soiling and edge wear in printed wrappers. The front cover has an impressive raised gold image of the Republic Pictures logo of an eagle standing on top of a globe. Spiralbound, unpaginated, 8 1/2” x 11”, printed double-sided - roughly 3/4” thick. Illustrated throughout with technical drawings, computer generated images in black & white and color, and color photographs. With occasional notations in pencil and with organizational subject tabs at the outer edge. The material belonged to an original crew member of the film's production unit. Fine condition. Captain America: Civil War written by Christopher Marcus and Stephen McFeely is the sequel to 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the thirteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It was directed by Anthony and Joe Russ and stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America, alongside an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Don Cheadle as Lt. Bradbound, 239 pages with this note from the producers on the page numbered 240: “The final pages of this screenplay have been removed because the producers do not wish to divulge the ending of this program prior to its air date [September 30, 1977]. Members of the cast and crew will, of course, be given these pages at the appropriate time.” Very good copy with some minor handling, faint spotting, and fading to the printed covers. The movie was directed by Gordon Davidson and David Greene, starring Ben Gazzara, Lorne Greene, Frances Lee McCain,Lawrence Pressman, and John Pleshette as Lee Harvey Oswald. The movie tells the story of Lee Harvey Oswald, the man accused of assassinating President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963, and speculates about what might have happened had he been brought to trial. With a brand new unused VHS tape of the movie.
