First Edition. A special New Year Edition of the British film magazine, Daily Film Renter, published for the film industry and trade, with articles and interviews related to the business of film production. Illustrated throughout with color and black & white photos, and with many great ads from film companies such as Kodak, Polaroid, Western Electric, etc. Very good slightly used copy with some minor dust soiling and edge wear in printed wrappers. The front cover has an impressive raised gold image of the Republic Pictures logo of an eagle standing on top of a globe. Featured in this issue are promotional articles for many popular films of the day, including Hell's Half Acre with Wendell Corey, Evelyn Keyes, and Elsa Lanchester, Johnny Guitar with Joan Crawford and Sterling Hayden, The Outcast with Dorothy McGuire, The Fortune Hunter with John Derek, The Shanghai Story with Ruth Roman and Edmond O'Brien, etc.

Original tech scout location study material for the Marvel Studios Avengers film Captain America: Civil War. With the film's secret working title ‘Sputnik' printed on the cover. Spiralbound, unpaginated, 8 1/2” x 11”, printed double-sided - roughly 3/4” thick. Illustrated throughout with technical drawings, computer generated images in black & white and color, and color photographs. With occasional notations in pencil and with organizational subject tabs at the outer edge. The material belonged to an original crew member of the film's production unit. Fine condition. Captain America: Civil War written by Christopher Marcus and Stephen McFeely is the sequel to 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the thirteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It was directed by Anthony and Joe Russ and stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America, alongside an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Don Cheadle as Lt.
