The frontispiece portrait of stage and film actor and director William S. Hart is a color painting by famed Western artist, Charles M. Russell, given to Hart by Russell as a gift, showing Hart on horseback riding through a desert landscape. The book has been rebacked. A lightly used and worn copy with some dust soiling and minor scuffing to the cloth and a bit of edge wear without dust jacket. The memoirs of actor, director William S.
