First Edition. Xerox copy of the 132 page mimeographed dialogue and continuity script for the classic film, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, directed by Alfred L. Werker, starring Basil Rathbone as Holmes, Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson, Ida Lupino, and George Zucco as Professor Moriarty. Bound with brads. Very good plus copy. In this story, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson must thwart the efforts of Professor Moriarty to steal the crown jewels from the Tower of London. This was the second and final production of Twentieth Century-Fox's Rathbone and Bruce ‘Holmes' films, which was then picked up by Universal.

Los Angeles Universal Pictures 1945 
First Edition. Original 110 page typed revised shooting script, dated June 11, 1945, for the film entitled, The Fugitive, which was the working title for the Sherlock Holmes film Pursuit to Algiers by Leonard Lee. Bradbound. Some writing in pencil to the front cover, very good slightly used copy in printed wrappers. Included is an original 4 page mimeographed continuity and dialogue script, dated October 22, 1945, for the trailer for the film. Pursuit to Algiers was directed by Roy William Neill and starred Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. Staple bound along the top edge. Very good slightly used copy. Leonard Lee wrote the screenplays for many motion pictures, including Beg, Borrow, or Steal with Frank Morgan, Bomber's Moon with George Montgomery, and another Sherlock Holmes film, Dressed to Kill, again with Basil Rathbone as Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson.

In this story, Professor Moriarty is sentenced to death by hanging and vows that Holmes and the head of Scotland Yard will suffer the same consequences, a fate made possible when Moriarty escapes prison and his prosecutor is discovered dead. Who will be next?
