Kowalski, also starring Maximilian Schell, Barbara Werle, John Leyton, and Sal Mineo. Paperbound, 9” x 12”. Very good copy with a trace of edge wear in printed wrappers. The film tells the story of 19th century sea-faring exploration, treasure hunting, ship wrecks, survival, and romance.

Signed and inscribed by Virginia Sale to Nat Levine, film producer and owner of the studio Mascot Pictures (1927-1935): “For my good friend, Mr. Nat Levine, with my appreciation and blessing, Sincerely, Virginia Sale Wren, May 24, 1981.” On the rear endpaper, Levine has written the publication details for the book, The Great Movie Serials, which contains information on a number of the serials Levine produced at Mascot. Virginia Sale was a noted American character actress who had a career lasting over six decades. This book is the text of her very successful one woman show, Americana, a series of monologues, in which she played over 1000 times in a 15 year period. Very good lightly used copy without dust jacket.
